My friend, Carrie of Curly Crafty Mom, has encouraged me to join her in participating in the Currently link up run by Becky of Choose Happy. So, I have been posting Currently posts for a few months now. Currently posts are a fun way to share updates and photos on the positive things that have been going on in my life! This month, my daughters and I have been enjoying taking day trips to beautiful parks and walking trails in our area in central New Jersey. I have been hoping to get into better shape this summer, and walking is a great way to do it! One of my favorite places to go Continue reading...

I've discovered that by simply screwing a few crates together with some wood screws and a screwdriver, I could put together functional and really sturdy shelving in a Continue reading...
Coca-Cola Bottle Summer Blooms
Happy Summer! I can't believe that summer is already here! A few summers ago, I planted beautiful perennial gardens along the south and east sides of my house. There I planted a wildflower mix, roses and lots of lilies. I really enjoy lilies! The photo below shows the yellow roses that bloom in my home's front garden bed. The roses bloom throughout the summer -- that is, if I remember to water them frequently! I often also plant sunflowers in my home's southern garden. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers! Throughout the summer my garden produces lots of Continue reading...

Their birthday is toward the end of the month, so we often wind up throwing a party for them in June instead of May, since it's hard to compete with Memorial Day.
