This post is sponsored by Oscar's Oasis. All opinions expressed in this post are my own. When I was little, I watched cartoons like Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner, in which Wile E. Coyote chased the Road Runner all over the Southwest American desert. The only dialogue ever spoken in those cartoons was the "beep beep" of the Road Runner. Yet those cartoons were very entertaining! There aren't a lot of cartoons like those these days for kids. So I'm happy to discover the animated series, Oscar's Oasis by TeamTO, available to stream on Netflix. Now, my kids can enjoy cartoons like I Continue reading...
Fun Family Crest Craft for Kids (My Knight and Me Animated Series)
Have your kids seen the new animated series for kids from TeamTO called My Knight and Me? This adorable show airs weekdays at 12 p.m. (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. This series, for children 6-10, follows the quests of three knights in shining armor -- street-smart Jimmy the Squire; daring Cat the Princess; and Jimmy's dad, the chivalrous Henri of Orange. Together, the threesome set out to brighten the Dark Ages while having fun! To celebrate this series, I thought it'd be fun to share an easy knight-inspired family craft that you can do with your kids. For this craft, all Continue reading...

I can't believe that school has started today already! My daughters and I love to tie-dye together, so today I am sharing a fun way to personalize pillowcases with tie dye and stamps. I made this craft to help celebrate Season 2 of Amazon's Creative Galaxy cartoon. About Creative Galaxy Creative Galaxy is an interactive Amazon Original Kids series -- it's second season debuts this Friday, September Continue reading...
September Goals
Every month, I set three monthly goals for myself. These goals are smaller things I hope to achieve or accomplish in the next few weeks. I’ve found that setting small goals each month helps me to get things done! My friend, Carrie at Curly Craft Mom, got me started on this helpful habit! The recap of my August goals are at the bottom of this post. 1 - Take Better Photos – I bought myself a beautiful Nikon DSLR camera about a year ago. The camera has helped me to take better photos for the blog. I have to admit, though, I am still taking photos in the automatic mode. (In my Continue reading...
How to Tie Dye Fun Summer Shirts
*This post contains Amazon affiliate links. If you click on a link and make a purchase, I earn a small fee that helps to keep this blog up and running. Thanks so much! :) It's been so hot here in New Jersey lately -- it's difficult to find activities for my kids and I to do in heat! The hot weather makes us just want to stay inside in the air conditioning. So, the other day, I spread out a picnic blanked under some trees in our backyard, and we did some tie dying in the shade! How to Tie Dye I picked up some bottles of easy-to-mix tie dye in various colors at my local Continue reading...

Currently (August) — Trip to Mystic Seaport and Cape Cod
For the past few months, I've been writing a "Currently" post and linking up with my friend Carrie of Curly Crafty Mom's "Currently" post. In our Currently posts, we share fun tidbits about what's going on in our lives! For me, I can't believe that it's August already! My kids have already enjoyed two weeks of day camp together, and my husband, kids and I took a week-long vacation in Mystic, Conn., and Cape Cod, Massachusetts. My kids, husband and I LOVED Mystic! Our first night there we had a fantastic dinner at a place called Ancient Mariner. I had the most delicious scallops! On our Continue reading...
Back to School Computer Command Center
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #BTSwithHP #CollectiveBias Just recently, my family owned just one computer -- a laptop. The laptop was fine for a while, but now that my daughters are in the eighth grade and will soon be high school, one computer isn't enough for our family. I need a computer for my work, my husband needs access to a computer, and my daughters need a computer for their school work. So for this school year, I put together a family computer command center. I am so happy with how our new computer Continue reading...
Everyday Celebrations with Kids
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #BackToSchoolReady #CollectiveBias My daughters will soon be back in middle school. In September, we will be thrust into after-school activities, cross-country practices, music lessons and homework. I'll need to simplify our weeknights! I'll also look for ways to celebrate my daughters' accomplishments. Like when they set a personal record in cross country or bring home a great grade. One celebratory dinner I plan to make includes STOUFFER'S® Meat Continue reading...

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Tyson Foods, Inc. All opinions are entirely my own. This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #ReimagineYourRoutine #CollectiveBias I love making breakfast for my daughters on school mornings -- even if that means getting up at 6 a.m.! On the first day of school, it’s especially important that I make a yummy breakfast for my kids. Putting extra effort into my kids’ breakfasts is a way I show them how much I care. For this school year, I’ve already come up with the first Continue reading...
