The following content is intended for readers who are 21 or older. My family and I love eating various cuisines from around the world. One international food that we really enjoy is Japanese food, especially shrimp and vegetable udon soup. The soup combines crispy battered and fried shrimp with vegetables and thick wheat noodles called "udon" in a tasty broth. Udon soup is a delicious and satisfying one-pot meal. Fun Family Crest Craft for Kids (My Knight and Me Animated Series)
Have your kids seen the new animated series for kids from TeamTO called My Knight and Me? This adorable show airs weekdays at 12 p.m. (ET/PT) on Cartoon Network. This series, for children 6-10, follows the quests of three knights in shining armor -- street-smart Jimmy the Squire; daring Cat the Princess; and Jimmy's dad, the chivalrous Henri of Orange. Together, the threesome set out to brighten the Dark Ages while having fun! To celebrate this series, I thought it'd be fun to share an easy knight-inspired family craft that you can do with your kids. For this craft, all Continue reading...
12 Months of Goals — March
Last year, I set three goals for myself every month, and it helped me to get a lot done! This year, along with my friend Carrie from Curly Crafty Mom, I've decided to just set one goal each month so I can work on achieving bigger accomplishments. With spring starting next month, I've been thinking about my garden! In March, I'd love to enclose my raised garden beds and plant some peas! Dreaming About Digging in the Dirt I actually have a few gardens. I usually plant annual flowers in my front yard every year. In my southern side garden, I have a mostly perennial garden. In Continue reading...

Meal Plan Monday (February 20)
Welcome to Meal Plan Monday! Every Monday I like to share 5 great ideas for weeknight meals. I get the ideas from recipes that were shared at the previous week's Craft Frenzy Friday party. Sorry this post is SOOO late today! My family and I had off for President's Day, and I spent much of the day at the beach with my family and close friends. We sat on the beach, ate Korean tacos and even had ice cream! The kids built sand castles and rolled up their pants to wade into the ocean. At 50°, the weather wasn't like summer, but it was a pretty warm day for February! Here are the Continue reading...

All opinions are mine alone. #BordenCheeseLove #CollectiveBias #Ad My daughters, husband and I recently went away for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. On the trip, we brought our Scrabble and backgammon board games with us. We’ve discovered that we love playing board games together! We’ve decided to have weekly game times, especially on the weekends. During these game times, I like to serve homemade appetizers for my family – I enjoy cooking special foods to show how much I care! I recently tried a new recipe to share with my Continue reading...
