Easy and Fun Family Pizza Night
This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and The Coca-Cola Company. All opinions are mine alone. #FamilyPizzaCombo #CollectiveBias Now that spring is here and it is so beautiful outside, my family and I have been enjoying dinners out on the patio! Sometimes, though, it can be a lot of work to prepare a weeknight dinner out on the patio! I have to cart all our plates, cups, napkins, etc., from the kitchen, as well as all the food! Plus, with our busy weeknight schedules, I sometimes don't have a lot of time to cook during the week. I make weekly shopping trips to Continue reading...
Four Easy & Flavorful Recipes
I have been into adding lots of flavor into my family's meals lately! My favorite go-to herbs and flavors have been cilantro, basil and chipotle! I love how herbs and spices can change a so-so meal to something fabulous! (I have been growing my own herbs -- visit next week to see my DIY herb garden!) I am the lucky co-host of the Motivation Monday and the Craft Frenzy Friday linky parties. As a co-host, I get to see all the wonderful ideas from bloggers across the country! Every Wednesday I like to share some of my favorites from the recipes, crafts and projects that were Continue reading...

My husband's birthday was last week, so I wanted to make him something special. He really likes tiramisu, so I made him some tiramisu cupcakes to celebrate his birthday! Tiramisu is a traditional Italian dessert flavored with coffee, cocoa and mascarpone cheese. Tiramisu is one of my husband's favorite desserts! This recipe is part of this month's Taste Creations blog hop, where my blogging friends and I will be Continue reading...

Welcome to Motivation Monday! I can't wait to see what everyone has to share this week! In case you missed it, here at Mom Home Guide, I created easy and fun DIY markers for the garden with wood craft tags, stencils, paint and chopsticks! I plan to do some gardening this spring, so I may be making more garden markers soon! I also put up a vinyl chalkboard calendar in my new pantry. The calendar is so handy for charting my blog events and responsibilities! I am giving away a vinyl chalkboard calendar and a liquid chalk marker set, but the giveaway ends soon! Stop by my pantry Continue reading...
May Goals
Today I am joining my friend, Carrie of Curly Crafty Mom, in sharing my personal goals for May. I think setting monthly goals is a great exercise for getting things done! 1. Clean and Beautify Backyard. I have been all about cleaning and organizing my home lately. So, one of my May goals is to clean up and improve the backyard, so my family and I can enjoy our yard this coming spring and summer! I got a start on that goal last week -- I filled five trash bins with twigs and branches from our backyard and scheduled a yard waste pickup with my town. I don't think my husband and I have Continue reading...

Pantry Chalkboard Calendar — and Giveaway!
This post contains Amazon affiliate links. If you click on a link and make a purchase, I earn a small commission that helps to fund this blog. Thanks! Thank you to Fancy Fix for sponsoring this post! All opinions expressed in this post is 100% my own. So far, 2016 has been all about organizing at my house! My biggest organizing accomplishment by far this year has been my home's new pantry! The pantry is only a few feet off the kitchen and used to be an unorganized and little used coat closet. Now, the space is one of the most organized and useful spots in the house! Continue reading...
DIY Garden Markers
This post contains Amazon affiliate links. If you click on a link and make a purchase, I earn a small commission to help fund this blog. Thanks! Now that spring is here, I can't wait to start gardening! I've already started some seeds indoors for garden herbs, so I decided to make some quick DIY herb garden markers! For my stakes for my herb garden markers, I used wood chopsticks! There are always a lot of chopsticks in my house -- I don't know what to do with them all! I am glad that I found a purpose for at least some of them! I only needed just a few supplies for my Continue reading...
