Getting Stuff Organized After My Accident
Sadly, I am off my feet again! Earlier this month, I went outside to walk my pup, Mochi, and slipped on a sheet of ice on the staircase leading into my home. I am now laid up with a broken ankle and have just over a week more of recuperation before I can put even just a little bit of weight on my foot. The first level of my home has become my sole living space. It's a little messy at the moment, but it will have to do. Read more to see how I'm managing and trying to get my life in order. If you follow my blog, you might know that I slipped on ice and broke my ankle earlier this month. It Continue reading...
Off My Feet—Again (And Helpful Products When you Have a Broken Ankle)
This post contains Amazon affiliate links. I started 2022 on the wrong foot — literally. Thirteen days ago, on January 4, I was working in my home office and decided at about 9:30 a.m. to take my pup out to the yard. I took one step on my home’s front outdoor concrete stairs and flew over two stairs and landed on my butt. The stairs were covered in ice! I instantly developed pain and swelling in my right foot. It seems that the force of slipping on the stairs broke my ankle. Broken Ankle I immediately texted my family, and one of my daughters came out to get me right away. I had to Continue reading...

Flexispot Kana Pro Bamboo Standing Desk Review (Mom Gifts – Amazon – Idea)
Thanks to Flexispot for providing me with the desk reviewed in this post. This post contains affiliate links. I started a new full time job as a content writer at the end of September. I love my new work-from-home job, but haven't been liking what sitting at a desk all day has been doing to my body. My legs get sore and tight, and I have carpal tunnel. My physical therapist tells me that it's not good to be sitting all day. So when I was given the chance to try out the Kana Pro Standing Desk ($499.99) by Flexispot, I jumped at the chance. My new standing desk has turned out to be Continue reading...

They tweaked the logo to make it look even better and made a beautiful, comfy sweatshirt for me! I like that their products are made with love in Philadelphia, not far from where I went to college. Custom Fleece Sweatshirt My order arrived shortly after it was placed—I Continue reading...
