Thanks! Last month my husband and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary! He loves chicken tandoori, an Indian dish that features chicken marinated in yogurt and savory spices. The weather was perfect the day of our anniversary for grilling on my patio's outdoor gas grill. I decided to try a grilled version of chicken tandoori. I used the Tandoori Chicken Kebabs recipe by The Healthy Maven, Continue reading...

Stenciled Feather Wall Art

I was looking to replace a bird mural that was on one wall in my home’s master bedroom. The below photo shows what the mural looked like. I thought some framed feather art like some I saw on Pinterest might look good on the wall. Feather Art Fun DIY Kit I Continue reading...

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #GrowingUpPurina #CollectiveBias My puppy, Mochi, and I have grown so much together over the past year! When my family got Mochi, a Shih Tzu, in January 2018, he was my first dog ever. I didn’t quite understand him and his ways, but now I understand him much better! Everything about having a puppy was new to my husband, kids and me. We had to learn everything about what a puppy needs. For example, we had to figure out what kind of food is best for him and what toys he would like Continue reading...

I decided to make easy but super delicious mason jar strawberry cheesecakes. My daughter told me the other day that she was craving strawberry cheesecake. So I decided that's what my recipe would be! I have a bunch of cute mason jars, so I thought it would be fun to make individual servings of strawberry cheesecake in mason jars. I came Continue reading...

How to Mod Podge and Frame a Jigsaw Puzzle
This post contains Amazon affiliate links. Welcome to the March Pinterest Challenge Blog Hop. The purpose of this Pinterest Challenge is to motivate all the participants of this hop (and you too) to not just pin, but to make it happen! This month, I chose to Mod Podge and frame a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle that my daughters completed together. The puzzle sat on our big farmhouse kitchen table for a while. I had to figure out how to glue and frame the puzzle, and I also fought off an awful cold virus! Once I was healthy again, it was time to tackle that puzzle! My inspiration for how to Continue reading...
