How Weekly Meal Plans Can Better Serve You & Your Elderly Parents’ Diet
*This is a guest post. People who juggle different roles in their lives can find it very hard to dedicate time to their elderly parents, who need constant care and attention. During the pandemic, many people quarantined themselves along with their elderly parents so that they could take care of them. But in certain scenarios, it almost becomes an impossible task that calls for external help. One of the most important parts of giving elderly care is meal-prep that suits an older adult’s dietary restrictions. For instance, it’s most likely that your elderly parents have diabetes or Continue reading...
Lokithor Emergency All-Around Tool Review
Thanks to Lokithor for providing me with the product reviewed in this post. This post contains Amazon affiliate links. Since our twins started college in the fall, my husband and I have been driving back and forth visiting them and picking them up for breaks and driving them back again. We live in New Jersey, and my husband says that he's put as much mileage on his car from these trips that it would take to drive from our home to the West Coast! That's a lot of driving. I haven't been able to accompany my husband on all the trips. I worry about him driving alone, especially to Continue reading...

Off My Feet—Again (And Helpful Products When you Have a Broken Ankle)
This post contains Amazon affiliate links. I started 2022 on the wrong foot — literally. Thirteen days ago, on January 4, I was working in my home office and decided at about 9:30 a.m. to take my pup out to the yard. I took one step on my home’s front outdoor concrete stairs and flew over two stairs and landed on my butt. The stairs were covered in ice! I instantly developed pain and swelling in my right foot. It seems that the force of slipping on the stairs broke my ankle. Broken Ankle I immediately texted my family, and one of my daughters came out to get me right away. I had to Continue reading...
