Air Fryer Zeppole (Fried Dough Balls Dusted with Sugar)

written by Lauren

a bowl of fried pizza dough balls (zeppole) dusted with powdered sugar

This post contains Amazon affiliate links, through which I may earn commissions for products purchased. When my husband and I were dating, one thing we used to do together was get delicious just-cooked zeppoles on Fridays from a local pizza place. Zeppoles are an Italian treat made of fried balls of dough dusted with sugar. Sweet and crispy, these confections literally melt in your mouth. What's not to like? I can remember eating the zeppoles warm straight out of the bag from the pizza place together. The zeppoles were only available on Fridays, so we headed to the local pizza place Continue reading...

Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

4 chocolate chip cookie bar cookies on a white plate

This post contains Amazon affiliate links. Chocolate chip cookies are my all-time favorite cookie. They are a fairly "basic" cookie. But nothing can beat the warm, gooey sweetness of a warm chocolate chip cookie! I am not always up to all the work that chocolate chip cookies require, however. (Scooping out cookie dough into cookie-sized balls before baking them in the oven.) Enter the chocolate chip cookie bar! Chocolate chip cookie bars taste every bit as good as traditional chocolate chip cookies, but without all the scooping! Today I'm sharing a fabulous Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie Continue reading...

Bathroom wall stenciled with Rabat Allover Stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils

Thanks to Cutting Edge Stencils for providing me with the stencil described in this post and used in my project. Four years ago I started stenciling a feature wall in my home's master bathroom. Life got busy, and I only finished the feature wall this year! I guess being stuck at home for months on end has some pluses! Now that the feature wall is finished, I thought it would be a great time to share how to create a DIY feature wall with a wall stencil. How to Create a Bathroom Feature Wall with a Stencil My husband doesn't love a lot of bright colors in the home, so I had painted Continue reading...

Easy and Delicious Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

written by Lauren

plate of air fryer chicken with a crisp seasoned coating

This post contains Amazon affiliate links. One of my daughters loves chicken nuggets. I recently cooked up a batch of air fryer chicken nuggets for dinner one night, and she loved it! What I like about using the air fryer is that it is quick and easy, doesn’t involve messy oil, and is a cinch to clean up! Air fryer chicken tenders taste just as good as traditionally fried chicken tenders do, but are healthier since they aren’t fried in oil.  I got my air fryer about two years ago. I haven’t used it much, however. Now that I’ve made these chicken tenders, I will be looking for more Continue reading...
