How to Mod Podge and Frame a Jigsaw Puzzle

written by Lauren

how to glue and frame a jigsaw puzzle

This post contains Amazon affiliate links. Welcome to the March Pinterest Challenge Blog Hop. The purpose of this Pinterest Challenge is to motivate all the participants of this hop (and you too) to not just pin, but to make it happen! This month, I chose to Mod Podge and frame a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle that my daughters completed together. The puzzle sat on our big farmhouse kitchen table for a while. I had to figure out how to glue and frame the puzzle, and I also fought off an awful cold virus!  Once I was healthy again, it was time to tackle that puzzle! My inspiration for how to Continue reading...

written by Lauren

I love how this galvanized metal tray is decorated for St. Patrick's Day with mason jars of Skittles and M&Ms and a cute ceramic leprechaun

This post contains affiliate links for your shopping convenience. They don't cost you anything, but I can earn a small commission through these links that help to support this blog. Thanks! I'm loving the tiered tray trend! I only got my tiered tray a month or two ago. I've been finding that it's fun and easy to decorate a tiered tray for just about any holiday. Today I'm sharing how I styled my tiered tray for St. Patrick's Day. Just the other day I spent $3 for three cute St. Patrick's Day decor miniatures from my local Target - a shamrock, a pot of gold and a leprechaun hat. I combined Continue reading...

Guinness Irish Beef Stew – Taste Creations Blog Hop

written by Lauren

This Guinness Irish Beef Stew is easy to put together and is so delicious! The beer flavors and tenderizes the beef for a melt in your mouth beef stew. It can be made in a slow cooker or on the stove.

I've always known I'm a little bit Irish -- I've been told that one of my great grandparents was from Ireland. I recently completed a genetics test from Ancestry.com. The results told me that 20% of my Ancestry is from Ireland and Scotland.  I'm celebrating St Patrick's Day with some extra vigor this year! I  love beef stew -- so I made a big pot of Guinness Irish Beef Stew for my family Friday night. It was a hit! The stew features melt-in-your-mouth, tender beef, carrots and potatoes simmered in full-bodied Guinness Extra Stout beer. I am sharing this recipe as part of the Taste Continue reading...

Garden Gnome Spring Tiered Tray

written by Lauren

A three tiered galvanized decorated for spring with faux greenery, a garden gnome, ceramic and wire birds, mini houses, a buffalo plaid napkin and a candle.

This post may contain affiliate links, at no additional cost to you.  If you spend a lot of time on Instagram and Pinterest, you've probably noticed tiered trays are popular. A tiered tray has 2-3 trays stacked above each other on a single stand. You can DIY a tiered tray, or you purchase one. My 3 Tier Serving Tray is from Amazon. Tiered trays are fun to decorate because with tiered trays, a little decor goes a long way — you are essentially decorating a really small space. So, it's quite easy and fun to change your tiered tray's decor on a whim. I find that often I can use supplies Continue reading...
