Hey, everyone! Today I am sharing my DIY Instagram Display Board at Ask Anna! Ask Anna has been one of my favorite blogs for a while now, so I am so glad that I am now an Ask Anna contributor, and will be posting there the first Thursday of every month! My kids and I recently got new smartphones and only just got Instagram accounts, and we have been fun taking Instagram pics of our vacation travels this summer! I thought it'd be fun to have a place to share and display our Instagram photos in our home, so I made this really easy but decorative DIY Instagram display board of our Continue reading...

My Sunny Summer Garden
I just love summer! There are sunny days at the beach, lots of time to spend with my husband and kids, and the beautiful flowers in my perennial garden! The garden is on the sunny southern side of my home, so it really flourishes under the summer sun! What's even better is that my sunny summer garden is just outside my living room's window, so I can enjoy my summer garden even when I am inside! I put in my garden just last summer, and I can't believe how much it has flourished since then! The photo above is of my beautiful black-eyed susans. They have been blooming all summer! I started Continue reading...
Sunny & Bright Living Room
*Mohawk Home provided an area rug for this makeover. Hi, everyone! I have been loving my new living room! It has been through quite a transformation. It has gone from an unattractive area with two toy boxes and lots of toys, to a space that actually looks like a grown-up and complete room! My kids, who are now tweens, are enjoying the more sophisticated space, too! Since friends have asked where I found my furniture and decor for my new living room, I've decided to follow the lead of fellow blogger Abby from Just a Girl and Her Blog and create a source list for my new living room. Abby Continue reading...

Congratulations, Cynthia! “This review and giveaway was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Febreze. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine." My kids love the Febreze #Noseblind commercials on TV -- the ones where they lead unsuspecting folk blindfolded into a gross, stinky room, and the people think they are in a great place because it smells wonderful! So when I was given the chance to try some of Febreze's Continue reading...
Bowling and Nachos: #PEPCIDTastemakers
I have received product and compensation for this sponsored post for Mom It Forward. All opinions expressed in this post are completely my own. Heartburn is something I never expected to experience. But heartburn struck often when I was pregnant with my twins. Heartburn can happen in pregnancy, but perhaps more often in moms-to-be of multiples! When pregnant, I sometimes got burning feelings in my chest, especially after I enjoyed one of my biggest pregnancy cravings: loaded baked potatoes! The loaded baked potatoes came from a local fast food restaurant and were covered with sour Continue reading...

Giveaway: Preserving Family Memories – #DivaMemories
This review and giveaway was made possible by Double Duty Divas and YesVideo. I received the featured service free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine." For years, my husband and I have been meaning to transfer the family videos of our twin girls from our old cassette tapes to DVDs so we can enjoy watching my kids’ baby videos. My husband gave me a video camera for my birthday a few months after my twins were born, and I used it to video many family memories. The camera had all the bells and whistles at the time, but it is now about 10 years old and has been Continue reading...

Summer Flowers: Black Eyed Susans
I started my sunny perennial garden last summer knowing that while I am not that much of a gardener, I just love flowers! Luckily, I planted pretty foolproof flowers like lilies, phlox and black eyed susans (Rudbeckia hirta). So this summer, I am the lucky owner of a beautiful flower garden! The best bloomers in my garden are my black-eyed susans. I planted them last summer -- they came from a free packet of seeds I got from Burt's Bees. I had no idea what would bloom from those seeds, but just crossed my fingers and planted them! Last summer they just looked like weeds with no blooms, but Continue reading...
