This post contains Amazon affiliate links. Happy Monday, everyone! I've always wanted a kitchen herb garden, but was never really sure how to create one! But after some pondering and research (and a little work), I now have a really cute herb garden in my kitchen! I only planted my herb garden a few weeks ago, and already, my herbs are thriving! My cilantro is especially doing well. (I marked the cilantro Continue reading...

DIY Garden Markers
This post contains Amazon affiliate links. If you click on a link and make a purchase, I earn a small commission to help fund this blog. Thanks! Now that spring is here, I can't wait to start gardening! I've already started some seeds indoors for garden herbs, so I decided to make some quick DIY herb garden markers! For my stakes for my herb garden markers, I used wood chopsticks! There are always a lot of chopsticks in my house -- I don't know what to do with them all! I am glad that I found a purpose for at least some of them! I only needed just a few supplies for my Continue reading...

New Jersey Day Trip: Sayen Gardens
My daughters were off from school two weeks ago on spring break, so I took the opportunity to enjoy local sights with them. One place I took them to was Sayen Gardens, located in Hamilton Square, NJ, just about 17 minutes from our home. The gardens are in Mercer County, NJ, not far from Princeton, NJ. Sayen Gardens is one of my favorite places to visit with my daughters! The park has free admission and has so many beautiful places to explore! There are ponds, walking trails, beautiful gardens, gazebos and woodlands. When we visited on my daughters' spring break, we even saw a heron Continue reading...

*This review is a sponsored post. I received compensation for this post. All opinions are 100% my own. These days, it can be hard to find a bank account that doesn't charge monthly fees. My own bank charges me when my balance falls below a specified minimum balance and when I visit an ATM machine outside my bank. Those fees can add up! Imagine how tough those fees can be for high school students, college students and recent grads! Luckily, Boiling Springs Savings Bank has made it easier for students and new grads to manage a bank account. Boiling Springs Savings Bank will give students and Continue reading...
My June Garden
It's been a bit dreary and rainy here in New Jersey, but that's been great for my garden! My front garden roses bushes have been blooming, and many of the annuals that I planted for summer have been looking great! My June gardens are thriving! Roses like a lot of water, so the rain has been great for them! In past summers, I've always wondered why my roses weren't blooming much, but that's because I wasn't watering them enough! LOL! I have to remember how well the roses have been doing during these past few rainy days here in Central New Jersey! I have a surprise addition to my side Continue reading...
Free Kids Meal from Olive Garden
Tomorrow is Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, and to honor that special day, Olive Garden and The Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Foundation are partnering up to help parents make the most out of the day for their kids. For those who come to Olive Garden tomorrow (April 23), a free kid's meal will be provided for every adult meal purchased. That is great! I LOVE Olive Garden, and especially adore their breadsticks and salads! Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, on April 23, is an opportunity for parents to bond with their children and inspire them to think about their Continue reading...
DIY Garden Flag for St. Patrick’s Day
*This post contains Amazon affiliate links. The snow is piling up here in New Jersey, but I am already dreaming of spring! That's because St. Patrick's Day is a month away, and I know that the daffodils in my garden bloom about then! So today I am sharing the really easy to make St. Patrick's Day DIY garden flag that I made for my home's front yard garden. The flag is really simple to make and is much less expensive than the flags you can purchase in stores. With St. Patricks Day coming up, I wanted to hang a St.Patrick's Day-themed garden flag in my yard. But I am always surprised at how Continue reading...

My Sunny Summer Garden
I just love summer! There are sunny days at the beach, lots of time to spend with my husband and kids, and the beautiful flowers in my perennial garden! The garden is on the sunny southern side of my home, so it really flourishes under the summer sun! What's even better is that my sunny summer garden is just outside my living room's window, so I can enjoy my summer garden even when I am inside! I put in my garden just last summer, and I can't believe how much it has flourished since then! The photo above is of my beautiful black-eyed susans. They have been blooming all summer! I started Continue reading...
