It's snowing outside, and winter is definitely here in New Jersey! To celebrate this chilly season, I created a fun winter monogram wreath inspired by the movie, "Frozen!" I made the wreath for a good friend of mine. I wanted to make something special for my friend, since like Anna was there for Elsa, my friend has been there for me in times of need! I share decorating tips and projects once a month at the Ask Anna blog, so you can find the full tutorial on how to make this simple but beautiful wreath at Ask Anna. In the meantime, I hope you all stay warm! This project was shared at: Continue reading...

What do you do when you want to decorate for Christmas, but it's not Thanksgiving yet? You craft a "transitional" holiday wreath that would work just fine as a Christmas wreath but can serve as home decor for just about any other time of year, as well. That was my thinking when I created my Holiday Pom Pom Wreath. Today is the first Thursday of the month, so that means I am sharing one of my home decor tutorials at Ask Anna! Stop by Ask Anna for my full tutorial on how to make this fun and fluffy wreath! The tutorial also includes detailed instructions on how to make pom poms. I shared Continue reading...
Fall Paper Leaf Wreath
Happy October! To celebrate fall, I decided to make an easy and fun paper leaf wreath for my home. What's great is that I made the fall paper leaf wreath at no cost with materials I already had at home. I love how the happy fall colors brighten up my house! The project was simple -- I just cut out a circular wreath out of cardboard and glued on some paper leaves that I cut out from paper that I already had. I didn't even need a glue gun -- I used regular white school glue. I also used some white twine to wrap around my wreath (for a decorative touch) and to hang my wreath. Easy! Paper Continue reading...

“Tweet” Burlap and Chevron Wreath
I am so excited that spring starts this month! So, I just had to get started on crafting new spring décor for my home. I first got started by making a spring wreath for my house. My kids and I have been enjoying watching the birds eat at a feeder we placed just outside our home’s living room window this winter. I knew that I wanted my spring wreath to look a little bit like a bird’s nest, since my daughters and I are such big birdwatchers! I thought a grapevine wreath would work perfectly for my project, since grapevine wreaths are relatively inexpensive, look pretty much like birds’ Continue reading...

Comfy Whisper by Therapedic Cooling Foam Cluster Pillows Review
Thanks to Therapedic for sponsoring this post. I received free product in exchange for my review. For me, nothing is as luxurious and comfortable as settling into bed at night with crisp, clean sheets and big fluffy pillows. So I was happy when my husband and I added new oversized Whisper by Therapedic Cooling Foam Cluster Pillows, available at BigLots, to our bed recently. Amazingly, the pillows sell for less than $20 each—they feel like they should cost a lot more. New Therapedic Pillows I used to love snuggling under LOTS of blankets at night, but lately I often find myself more Continue reading...
