Last week I shared details about the first leg of the vacation my family took this summer. We went from New Jersey, through Pennsylvania, to New York's Finger Lake region, and finally, to the New York and Canadian sides of Niagara Falls. In last week's post, I shared the details and photos of our stops in two picturesque Delaware River towns -- Phillipsburg in New Jersey and Easton in Pennsylvania. We ate in Phillipsburg at a place overlooking the river and did some shopping in the gift shop at Crayola Experience. Puppy Summer Road Trip to New York & Canada — Part I
My family and I recently got back from an amazing road trip to the Niagara Falls, Canada and New York's Finger Lake region. Best of all, we brought our new Shih Tzu puppy, Mochi, with us! The trip passed by in a blur, and I can't believe that we are back home already. We adopted Mochi in January, and weren't ready to leave him in a kennel. I've read that the Niagara Falls and New York's Finger Lakes region is dog friendly. So we settled on upstate New York as this summer's vacation destination. I used the app, Bring Fido, to locate the puppy-friendly hotels and many of the sites we visited Continue reading...

My Life Now … Currently
Every month and I, my friend, Carrie of Curly Crafty Mom, and I get together to each share what's going on in our lives. This week has been especially tough for me -- it didn't turn out as expected. My family had a trip to Disney World planned. But I had to cancel it for medical reasons. I am hoping for the best and have been quite worried and stressed. But despite everything, my daughters and I did manage to squeeze in a super fun day at the shore last week. I am hoping there will be more days like that this summer. We spent the day on the beach at Ocean Grove, a Continue reading...
