Farmers Market Salad

written by Lauren

I love this farmers market salad recipe

I live in Central New Jersey, which means that I have lots of wonderful farmers markets near me. I can drive just a few minutes away from my town in almost any direction and reach beautiful farmland. I love it! So recently, when I needed to come up with my family's Sunday night dinner, I decided to visit Lee's Turkey Farm, one of the local farmers markets within a few miles from my house, and pick up ingredients for a delicious salad filled with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I also got some spring salad greens, avocado and fresh rotisserie chicken from my local supermarket. My Continue reading...

Smooth Work Day Cold Brew

written by Lauren

I love this easy cold brew recipe

Plus, my friends at Lardera Coffee Roasters recently sent me two of their straight-from-the-farm ground coffees to try, Kenya Washed and Tipica Honey plus a Lardera Cold Brew Pitcher ($24), so I figured the time was right to start making some Continue reading...

written by Lauren

Healthy meal with Progresso Light Chicken Noodle Soup and stuffed peppers

*This is a guest post. People who juggle different roles in their lives can find it very hard to dedicate time to their elderly parents, who need constant care and attention. During the pandemic, many people quarantined themselves along with their elderly parents so that they could take care of them.
