This post is sponsored by K&H Pet Products, which provided me with a Coolin' Pet Cot in exchange for my review. We have at least a month more of summer here in New Jersey, and it's been a hot one! My poor Shih Tzu (whose has tons of hair) has been one unhappy pup with all this heat. Luckily we have found our puppy a cooling dog bed. We recently got our pup a Coolin' Pet Cot by K&H Pet Products. The cooling dog bed has given him some escape from the brutal summer heat. During the day, my family's Shih Tzu usually prefers to sleep on the cool slate by our fireplace or Continue reading...
Puppy Summer Road Trip to New York & Canada — Part I
My family and I recently got back from an amazing road trip to the Niagara Falls, Canada and New York's Finger Lake region. Best of all, we brought our new Shih Tzu puppy, Mochi, with us! The trip passed by in a blur, and I can't believe that we are back home already. We adopted Mochi in January, and weren't ready to leave him in a kennel. I've read that the Niagara Falls and New York's Finger Lakes region is dog friendly. So we settled on upstate New York as this summer's vacation destination. I used the app, Bring Fido, to locate the puppy-friendly hotels and many of the sites we visited Continue reading...

I arrived in Charleston, S.C., on Thursday afternoon, a day before the conference started on Friday. Decorating a Living Room Bay Window
I received the pillows described in this post for free in exchange for my honest review. A few years ago my husband and I had a bay window installed in our living room. For a while, I was unsure as to how to dress up the window. I have been meaning to make a custom window seat cushion for the space, but haven't gotten around to it yet! In the meantime, I've found a much easier (and quicker) way to dress up a bay window. At first, I only had a simple cushion that I had sewed on the window seat. At the time, the cushion matched the color scheme of the curtains that I had in the Continue reading...

In the summer months, I love making dinner outside on the grill! Big pluses to cooking on the grill are that I don't dirty or heat up the kitchen, and I get to squeeze in some extra time outdoors! I'm always looking for new recipes for the grill. So I'm excited to be participating in the Taste Creations Blog Hop today. We will all be sharing recipes that can be made on a grill! (Check out my friends' recipes below in this post.) Grilled Personal Pizzas I am fairly new to grilling. I only learned to grill about 4 years ago, when I got my Weber Propane Gas Grill. Much of what I grill is pretty Continue reading...
